Parties — The seller is Prairie by Khan, organisation number 933 598 012. The buyer is the person placing an order on prairie.no.
1. General. These terms and conditions govern all purchases and use of prairie.no, operated by Prairie by Khan (org. nr. 933 598 012), Norway. By placing an order or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms in full. Prairie reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Customers in the EU retain all statutory consumer rights under applicable EU and EEA legislation, including the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven) and the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven).
2. Orders & Order Confirmation. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. A binding agreement is formed when you receive an order confirmation email. Prairie reserves the right to cancel any order — for example, in the event of pricing errors, unavailability or suspected fraud. If your order is cancelled, any payment taken will be fully refunded. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
3. Pricing & VAT. All prices are displayed in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include 25% VAT (MVA) where applicable, in accordance with Norwegian law. For international customers, prices may be shown in local currency at checkout using live exchange rates. Prairie reserves the right to adjust prices at any time.
4. Payment. Payment is processed at the time of order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments using SSL encryption. Prairie does not store your full card details.
5. Delivery & Shipping. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at shop@prairie.no. Prairie is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address information provided at checkout.
6. Right of Withdrawal. In accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached. Prairie does not offer direct exchanges — please return your item and place a new order.
7. Returns & Condition of Goods. Returned items must be clean, unworn and with all original tags attached. The customer is responsible for goods until received by our returns facility. Return shipping costs are to be covered by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent; where a refund applies, this cost is deducted from the amount refunded. Orders shipped within Pakistan are eligible for exchange only, within 14 days of delivery.
8. Refunds. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return, to the original payment method.
9. Faulty or Incorrect Items. If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days at shop@prairie.no with your order number and a photo. We will arrange a free return and offer a full refund or replacement. Faulty items are covered under the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act for up to two years.
10. Product Information. We make every effort to display products accurately. Minor variations in colour, shade or texture may occur and do not constitute a defect.
11. Intellectual Property. All content on prairie.no — including images, text, design, logos and lookbook photography — is the intellectual property of Prairie and may not be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
12. Privacy & Data Protection. Prairie collects personal data solely to fulfil your order and provide customer service. We do not sell your data. Our practices comply with GDPR and Norwegian privacy law. Contact shop@prairie.no for any privacy queries.
13. Limitation of Liability. Prairie's liability is limited to the value of goods ordered. We are not liable for indirect losses except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
14. Governing Law & Disputes. These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes may be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) at forbrukertilsynet.no, or the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
